The purpose of this program is to update physicians, nurses, therapists, pharmacists and other health professionals caring for critically ill patients. At the end of this program the participant should be able to:
  • Describe new and updated approaches to the care of critically ill patients.
  • Identify new and effective treatment options for common critical care problems.
  • Understand current concepts in the team management of cervical spine injury with interaction and discussion with experts.
 
 
This activity has been planned and implemented with the Essentials and Standards of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of TeamHealth Institute and the Florida Society of Critical Care Medicine. TeamHealth Institute is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

TeamHealth is accredited by the ACCME to sponsor programs for physicians. TeamHealth designates this activity for a maximum of 10 hours in Category 1 Credit toward the AMA Physicians Recognition Award. Each Physician should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in this activity.

TeamHealth Institute is accredited as a provider of continuing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. TeamHealth is an approved provider for the State Board of Nursing in Florida (Provider Number NCE2918).

This activity has been approved by the Board of Pharmacy for 9 hours pharmacy CE credits. CE-broker tracking number is 20-314749 and the publishing number is 10-1208329.

"The 29th Annual Labor Day Weekend Symposium has been planned with Essentials and Standards of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), and is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commision on Accreditation, and approved for nursing education credits by the State Board of Nursing in Florida. Up to 10 hours of Respiratory Therapy Credits are approved in accordance with F.S. Chapter 468, Part V, Florida Administrative Code 64B32-6,004. Respiratory Therapists will receive a certificate upon completion of the symposium: it will be the responsibility of each attendee to self-submit record of their attendance to the CE broker."
